Transfer Roundup - Dembele, Roberto, Fati
French Winger Ousmane Dembele is yet to sign his contract extension with Barcelona as his deal ends next summer. Dembele probably will be a key player in the upcoming months for Barcelona. Due to the current status of Barcelona, the manner in which Dembele will make his mark on the team will be very crucial. But Barcelona still hasn’t been able to make any progress in the contract negotiations with the Frenchman while Manchester City, Manchester United, and Juventus have already set their eyes on the Frenchman.
The Catalan giants are also reportedly interested in signing the English striker Raheem Sterling, with Man City thought to be open on letting him leave. However according to El Nacional, the Premier League champions will possibly add Dembele as a part of the deal with Barcelona. With Dembele’s terms expiring in June 2022, there is a possibility that Barcelona will lose their Worldcup winner in Russia, who has 30 goals and 21 assists in his 118 appearances for the club across all competitions.
❗Laporta's board has found that Ousmane Dembélé is emotionally very fragile who feels somewhat lonely and Griezmann's departure has increased it further.

That’s not the only case for Barcelona yet again, among its never-ending crisis period. Their financial instability has caused them desperation in securing deals with two more key players, Sergi Roberto and Ansu Fati. However, president Joan Laporta has stated that in the case of Sergi, the renewal is already agreed and the only thing missing is the signature.
Ansu Fati arguably may be Barcelona’s best hope for a bright future, as the youngster has shown phenomenal potential ever since his debut. Ruled out by injury, Fati will be returning after the international break, but renewing his current deal will not be that easy for Barcelona as a result of their current financial crisis. Because Ansu Fati’s agent Jorge Mendes will be aiming to negotiate a cutting deal for his client as he is well aware of the importance of the teenager to the club.
