The 20 year-old Barcelona star produced some incredible stats for himself during the game. 39/42 passes, 3 long balls, 2 key passes, and created 3 good chances. The Right-Back showed his energy and his proficiency and confidence all over the pitch with him winning 9 out of 12 duels. And in addition, he also made 5 dribbles (Right back!), 5 ball recoveries and 1 interception, not to forget his assist in the game.

But Sergino Dest only could stay on pitch for 77 minutes. As he left the pitch with some hamstring discomfort, but It wasn’t a serious issue by the looks of it and was more of a precaution. Dest is going to be an important player, not only for USA, but Barcelona as well in the upcoming crucial games. Barcelona will be facing Valencia, Dynamo Kiev, and Real Madrid immediately after the international break. So the American’s fitness will be of great concern for these crucial games.

Sergino Dest was a promising young talent when he joined Barca back in 2020 from Ajax. At the time there was a huge bidding war with Bayern for this young man. But Dest chose Barcelona for himself as playing for the Catalans had been his dream ever since he was a kid.
