Samuel Eto’o, the former Barcelona striker has confessed that the 2021/22 season has been very disturbing to watch as a person who has a deep, lasting bond with the club. He hasn’t been able to enjoy Barca games as the club keeps struggling and Eto’o is concerned that they might not make out of the Champions League group.

“Recently, Barcelona have made me suffer,” the Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o reported to the Marca. “These are tough times for those of us who love the club.”

Barcelona are currently 9^th in LaLiga with 7 games played and only 3 wins and 1 draw. But still we are just 5 points behind the league leaders Real Madrid and last season Barcelona came so close to winning the league after coming behind from way down in the table.

FC Barcelona are yet to win a champions league game this season as they faced humiliating defeats against Bayern Munich and S.L. Benefica, 3-0 in both occasions. However, the four-time African Footballer of the year, Samuel Eto’o stated his solution of getting through the frustration and disappointment.
