After an impressive performance to beat Sevilla last week, FC Barcelona travel to El Madrigal to take on the ‘Yellow Submarines’, Villareal CF.
Villareal have only won one of their last 27 matches against the Catalans in the top flight ( D6 L20).
Barcelona have collected points in each of their last 13 visits to Villareal in Laliga (W9 D4), including winning the last 3 matches.
Villareal have lost their last two matches in Laliga while FC Barcelona have won their last seven games in all competitions, keeping cleansheets in five of them.
Ousmane Dembele and Sergio Busquets are the only two absentees from the squad as they are recovering from injuries.
The usual defense consisting of Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen and Alejandro Balde are expected to start at the back with Marc Andre Ter Stegen in between the sticks.
Frank Kessie is expected to replace injured Sergio Busquets at the midfield while Frenkie De Jong and Gavi will occupy the Ivorian.
Pedri will once again start as the false winger while Robert Lewandowski and inform Raphinha is expected to lead the Barça attack this evening.
