Memphis Depay is showing great form in the Worldcup qualifiers with 9 goals and 6 assists from his 8 appearances. He is looking strong with the Dutch side as the Netherlands are looking comfortable to secure their place in the finals.

FC Barcelona signed Depay from Lyon as their main striker, because there is no Messi, Suarez or Griezmann with Blaugrana. It is a huge responsibility on the Dutchman as he has to play not with the struggling version of FC Barcelona. He scored 3 goals and has one assist with his new club this season, but it doesn’t seem to be enough.

The Dutchman scored 20 goals last season with Lyon and was looking in a great form, but many suspect he won’t be able to produce the same feat in the Spanish league. But Memphis is showing what he stands for in the international theatre, and him bringing the same quality to the Spanish League is the hope of all Culers.
