Fermin Lopez Marin is a 20 year old Spaniard who plays as an Attacking Midfielder for Barca Athletic.
He is a right footed player and has played as a left winger for more than 40% of his games as well.

Career
Lopez started his youth career at El Campillo and was part of Real Betis setup till 2016.
In 2016-17 Lopez arrived at La Masia and was part of the Juvenile A side that won the double in 2021/22 (Honour Division League and Champions Cup).
Then in the 2022/23 season he was loaned to Linares Deportivo, where he scored 12 Goals and made 4 assists, in 40 appearances.
Lopez made his senior debut with Barcelona in the friendly against Arsenal and scored his first senior goal against Real Madrid in the very next game.

Our Thoughts
As it seems, Lopez is a versatile attacking player who will really fill the demands of Xavi.
With the lack of Left Wingers in the squad, we can expect Lopez to gain more first team minutes in the upcoming season.
However, his current contract expires next summer and Barcelona have to renew his contract as soon as possible.
